C3 New Hope Townsville update
Over the past eight years at our Townsville location, we have witnessed God’s faithfulness in extraordinary ways. What began as a step of faith has grown into a vibrant Church community marked by a deep love for Jesus and one another. Last Sunday, our Townsville location finished one chapter and now, with faith and anticipation, crosses over into the next chapter of God’s great story. Following months of prayer and counsel, we are excited to share that our Townsville campus will be transitioning to come under the leadership of Pastors Luke & Bec at Antioch Church from Sunday 22 March 2026.
We want to honour and thank Ps Andy and Ps Corey Hovenden and their family for their leadership, sacrifice, wholehearted love and investment into C3 New Hope. They are bright lights in the Kingdom of God who will continue to shine for God’s glory. To everyone who has called C3 New Hope Townsville home and contributed to our church's story, we honour and thank you!
Andrew & Corey Hovenden
Our Pastors Andrew and Corey Hovenden have led our Townsville campus since 2019.
They have 4 children and as a family they love traveling, eating food with friends and family and adventuring.
Corey and Andrew were both radically saved, which led them to have a strong desire to see people meet and receive Jesus. They know the great eternal transformation and life that only Jesus can bring.

Word
Central to everything we do and believe in is the word of God. Every week, the Bible will be preached and taught from.

Worship
Our 10am Sunday Worship Services are just that. A time to glorify and lift up our awesome God. We proclaim the goodness of God through song and praise.

Kids
At C3 Kids we offer a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment for kids to learn about God. Our mission every Sunday is to create an atmosphere where your kids can grow more in their relationship with Jesus. For more info, check out our Kids page.
